CultureMix has been running events for many decades, from stages at Womad and Glastonbury to education programmes culminating in carnival events and processions. We've developed a wonderful archive of images and videos which tell the story of our creative journey in music and the arts. Photo Gallery: CultureMix works with schools across the UK to create a carnival experience. Workshops in costume and mask making, flag and banners, percussion making, and steel pan music create the ingredients for a carnival parade involving the whole school and surrounding communities.
In 2006 CultureMix Arts Artistic Director won an award to study carnival in Brasil. Hosted by Afro Brasilian percussion group Yle De Egba the collaboration brought typical Afoxe rhythms and steel pan together for the first time in Recife and Olinda. Photo Gallery and Videos.

RASPO play a varied repertoire of music to suit any event or function. From a typical Lord Kitchener calypso, to the popular classic'Can You Feel It' by The Jackson Five, RASPO performances are an ideal showcase for the talented young players.
