Reading Rock Academy hosts the second annual school band competition finale showcasing the top five school bands in the region. The event features a special guest performance from RASPO Steel Orchestra.
The Battle of the School Bands event has attracted industry judges including Martin Rushent, Mark Tuffy Evans and The Purple Turlle's Danny Fraifeld along with a national tv production company.

All proceeds raised from the event will be donated to Daisy's Dream charity who support childen suffering from bereavements.
The Top 5 Bands through to the Grand Final at The Hexagon are:
The Flux - The Oratory School
Bless The Hour - Queen Mary's College
Retrograde - Brighton Hill Community School
Montana Gold - Matthew Arnold School
You Have Spoken - Leighton Park School
The winner will perform in front of 20,000 football fans at the Madejski Stadium.

Yellow Fever - last year's winners from South Oxford
Amy's Ghost - Reading and Leeds Festival veterans
RASPO Steel Orchestra - Reading's award winning steel band.
