Reading All Steel Percussion Orchestra (RASPO) started as a community project at the Artist's Studios Open Hand Open Space in West Reading's Oxford Road.
The move to Central Reading Youth Provision offered a space to host events and opportunities for more children and young people to learn to play steel pan music.
RASPO then moved to the Abbey Gateway where CultureMix established training and internships. Rehearsals and workshops followed at Watlington Hall and The Jelly Sound House before the move to South Street Arts Centre.
