Emma Macedo

After joining RASPO in 2008 as a tenor pan player, Emma has since added double seconds, guitars and bass to her musical instrument skills within the orchestra.

In 2009 Emma was offered a business internship as part of her professional development with CultureMix. This was followed by work experience training as an assistant tutor. She then gained employment with CultureMix as assistant administrator helping to organise events and manage projects.

As well her natural talent for music Emma's creative skills and her keen interest in art and design made it possible for her to set up 'Creative Cards' in 2011. Her own small business producing unique and individual greetings cards to order.

Emma is a positive role model for younger players and acts as a peer mentor for beginners. She is a member of RASPO's function ensemble and became the orchestra captain in 2012.
