Press - Reading Midweek 7 September 2011 - On Carnival Beat

RASPO's successful collaboration with Aberdeen and New York is captured in this published image. Thanks to Berkshire Media Group reporter Maxwell Kusi-Obodum for his support.

RASPO's Notting Hill Carnival project was made possible with valuable and much appreciated support from:
Jelly's Suzanne Stallard who offered space to rehearse at the Jelly Art Pad in exchange for a small donation.
BDT boss Jeff Cahill provided the trailer and drivers Wayne and George for the floating stage.
• Angus from S A Scaffolding who, despite the pouring rain, rigged the vital rails for hanging the pans.
• Tracy Milne and Kirsty Roberston from Bucksburn Academy for helping to organise and coordinate transport and accomodation.
• Guy Douglas and Jo Keen from Reading UK CIC for support with local contacts and coordinating outdoor preview performances.
